First GLOSSYBOX of 2016 x

Hey everyone I am so pleased with the first glossybox of 2016!
Who else got this months box, what are your thoughts on the products ?? :D
I am SUPER excited for February's box, cannot wait to do another blog post on that for you guys.
Here's the products I received this month, I really hope you all enjoy my post and my genuine thoughts xxxxx

_________________________________________________________________________________
UNANI DERMO DEFENSE FACE MASK £11.36

So this dermo defense face mask is from the brand UNANI, I haven't really heard much about their brand but I did get one product last year in a birchbox which was a sample size. This product is full size and retails for £11.36 which is amazing for 100ml. I'm not sure on all of their products but I know this particular product isn't tested on animals, just for those of you who prefer make-up / skin care to not be tested on animals! I didn't bother taking a picture just based on the fact it's a clear gel,
There isn't really a scent which is good for those who hate strong scented skin care, when you squeeze a bit out it does look very thick, but once you go to rub it into your skin it just turns into a thin watery consistency, which is a bonus as it will be easier to wash off. It is recommended for sensitive skin, and suggests you use it once or twice a week, all you do is evenly apply to your cleansed face, leave on for 10 minutes and rinse of with water, after use a toner all over your face.
I cannot wait to try this product out as I suffer from sensitive skin myself, I will be sure to let you guys know my thoughts.
You can find this product at comprarcosmetica.es

GLOSSYBOX EYESHADOW IN GLOSSY MAUVE £7.10

As all you glossybox addicts know, we never really get actual glossybox products all that much, so when you do they are completely amazing and blow your mind! This eyeshadow is full size and costs £7.10 and 3g of product.  I got mine in the shade GLOSSY MAUVE, a beautiful pale blueish purple toned shadow with tiny, tiny flecs of silver shimmer, it's also a satin eye shadow. It blends easily and is super pigmented, this will look so good in the crease! Can't wait to create a make-up look with this.
_________________________________________________________________________________
ANGELE Paris Red Nail Lacquer £6.32
If you are like me and you're obsessed with collecting nail varnishes then you'll love this just as much as I do myself, you can't go wrong with a beautiful red polish! This is from the brand ANGELE Paris, it's 11ml and costs £6.32. Obviously it's a nail varnish so there's not much I can write about it haha! Although I've heard it's long wearing when used with a base coat and top coat.
I will let you all know and do a blog post about how long wearing it really is :D x

Teeez Cosmetics OASIS GEM LIPSTICK £11.93

As my lipstick was broken, glossybox was kind enough to send me a replacement AND a dove 60 second treatment shot for damaged hair, so once again thank you for amazing customer service! xx
As many other people are so in love with the design of the packaging, I am also obsessed!
It's so unique and different to any other lipstick I've ever seen to be honest. Now I personally think this product is a big hit or miss, I love the packaging, love the colour and the satin finish / scent... but the big miss for me was no matter how light you do a swatch OR apply it to your lips it just instantly snaps in half, I'm so gutted that this is the second time it's happened, but I will still try make it work or use a lip brush. Has anyone else had this problem? Other than that I love it, it has a very sweet scent though just to warn people who had strong scented lip products.

                                         Madara CELLULAR REPAIR SERUM £38

This Madara cellular repair serum is luxury size which you get 15ml of product,
I'm hoping it's amazing to ever pay £38 for the full size, the consistency is thin and a bit watery but rubs into your skin easily, the colour of the product is sort of like a really pale mint green.
It's supposed to help plump your skin while boosting hydration and radiance.
I am excited to try this out, it does have a slight smell, but I can't quite put a finger on what it smells like haha, so if you guys know please enlighten me :')

KIKO MILANO HAUL

Hello everyone so after finding out there has been a KIKO store open in Birmingham since November I just had to go, all the products I'll be mentioning are purchased over 3 trips in the space of one week (sad I know) But I still cannot get over how amazing their products are!
They have 50% off in store and online on certain things, the staff are so friendly and well mannered which is amazing, the woman who served me even noticed I was wearing one of their nail varnishes without me even saying so, which shows she is dedicated and knows enough about the company to work there! I hope you enjoy my haul, I also purchased a lip liner which I forgot to add into the picture but I will list it below and I'll also put the prices of each product too <3
_________________________________________________________________________________

The first products I actually purchased were two from their nail care, they are £4.90 each and I picked up their Gel Look Ultra Glossy Effect Top Coat, and their Strong Nails Instant Hardening Base Coat, I have used both and they are the best ones that I have tried so far, I really do recommend these products never found such great polishes, I'll 100% be buying more from their nail care range.
_________________________________________________________________________________
KIKO Nail Lacquer 266 Ultramarine Blue - £3.90
A little bit about me you probably don't know (unless you know me or have seen my Instagram)
I actually hoard nail varnishes, I just love always painting my nails and having hundreds of options when I get bored of a certain one,  SO that being said I just had to purchase one of their nail lacquers in the shade 266 Ultramarine Blue, such a beautiful electric blue shade with a hint of shimmer.
I was so shocked at how glossy it looked before I even applied their gel top coat, and that being said I done my nails Saturday 16TH January, it's now the 22ND of January and they're still going strong, a few have chipped a tiny little bit but that was due to catching or breaking a nail, other than that most nails are still looking fine, If you love a long wearing nail polish that looks glossy before top coat and dries fast then I suggest you look into these, they have SO many to choose from so everyone will find one they like, and for £3.90 they are a bargain!
_________________________________________________________________________________
KIKO Matte Muse Lipstick - 01 Plushy Rose
I was super excited to see this product in store, I'm such a baby for any matte lip product, who isn't though right? :D The only shade they had left in store was this one, 01 Plushy  Rose - But it's such a beautiful colour anyway so I had to buy it, super pigmented and really does stay on your lips!
The doe foot applicator makes it easier to apply as it fills more of your lip compared to a tiny normal shaped one, it glides on quite smoothly and looks beautiful on!
I did look on their website again but I can no longer find it on there :( I got it on offer for around £3.40 / £3.60 and I'm pretty sure the full price was £6.90 (not 100% though)
_________________________________________________________________________________
KIKO SOFT LIGHT POWDER - 01

As a pale girl all you fellow ghosts will understand the pain and frustration of finding powders light enough (other than translucent ones obviously) that will match your skin without looking like a Simpson or an orange x'D I was so excited when I swatched this powder in store it's in the shade 01 and it's perfect, feels so soft and smooth and it does actually have quite a lot of coverage to be honest, which is amazing, it's their soft light powder - baked mineral powder, nice sleek compact with a mirror inside perfect to take in your handbag! I'm not sure weather they've stopped selling this as I can no longer find it on their website and I really can't remember how much I paid, sorry guys!
_________________________________________________________________________________
KIKO VIVID COLOUR LIPSTICK PENCIL - 09 Ruby Red £5.90
I don't think I own many lipstick pencils, infact I'm not sure I even do, so I thought it would be a nice change to try something new so I picked up one of kiko's vivid colour lipstick pencils in the shade 09 Ruby Red, I have always been a lover of red lip sticks etc so I couldn't help myself :p
As you can see in the swatch it's a clean line and it glided onto my skin like a dream, only thing is even when I smudged it with my finger it leaves a stain, so I can't wait to try this out to see what the staying power is like :D I will keep you informed on how I get on with this! <3
_________________________________________________________________________________
KIKO EXTRA SCULPT VOLUME MASCARA £8.90

So as you all know pretty much nearly every month I get glossybox, and in December's Really Ree edition I received kiko's extra sculpt volume mascara, so although I never really purchased this in store this mascara retails for £8.90 if you were to purchase it yourselves!
I have heard a lot of people say it's a dupe for a high end mascara but for the life of me I really can't remember, but the whole idea of this big hourglass wand is to evenly distribute the texture. The brush's square ends reach the shortest lashes and those in the corners of your eyes. The formula and brush together ensure curly, volumized lashes with a panoramic effect.
I can't wait to try this out properly but it seems alright so far!
_________________________________________________________________________________
KIKO SMART LIP PENCIL 705 Bright Geranium £2.50
When I went into kiko, cause I don't really have many lip liners I thought I'd get a red one, I swatched one on my hand in store which to me looked red, so weather I got the wrong one who knows but this is their smart lip pencil in the shade 705 Bright Geranium a coral orange shade, it's super creamy and blends so well, it has amazing staying power too which is great! It's available in 16 colours <3
_________________________________________________________________________________

So as I love eye shadow that much I really wanted to buy two colours that would look amazing in the crease of my eyes, so I got one of their eyeshadows in the shade 131 Satin Coffee (left) and one of their Infinity [CLICS] system shadows in the shade 288 Mat Brown Taupe (right)
When I swatched them on my hand I was shocked at how pigmented kiko's eyeshadows are, they blend easily and glide onto your skin like a dream!!! They The 131 Satin Coffee retails for £2.90 and the 288 Mat Brown Taupe retails for £5.90. I highly recommend their eye shadows <3

Those are all the products I own from KIKO so far guys, knowing me I'll probably end up purchasing more at some point when I have the chance to, but for now I'll enjoy playing around with the products I do have and really test them out :D.
It would mean a lot to me, and KIKO if you were to check them out, I'll leave all their social media accounts below and their website so you can check out their products and keep up to date with offers/news!

Glossybox November 2015

Glossybox November - Lipstick To Lashes!
Hey everyone as promised I'm finally getting round to posting about this months Glossy box,
Which by the way is AMAZING, before I start please feel free to comment or contact me on Instagram with your favourite product(s) this month!

I'm so glad I got to pick my lipstick shade in time before they started just randomly selecting a colour for everyone, this month they worked along with Revlon to give everyone one of their super lustrous lipstick in the shade Black Cherry 477 which is full-size!

Even when their boxes are the plain ones they are still sleek and pretty always with that cute little bow! They are £10 a month +£2.95 post and packaging.. which is always worth it considering the price of the products you get each month!
                                                                    Lipstick To Lashes
_________________________________________________________________________________

Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick
I picked the shade Black Cherry 477!

I'm so bad when it comes to hoarding lipsticks or just any lip products in general,
so to hear that they were working alongside glossy box this month I was so excited!!
The sleek packaging, the gold&black and the see through bit on the top of the lid so you can see the colour without opening in shops is so amazing, I couldn't wait to swatch this for you guys...

The excitement I had when I seen how creamy this lipstick was, was just incredible..
The pigment of the lipstick and how easily it glides on is beautiful.
I would seriously suggest anyone who doesn't have one of these lipsticks to buy one, totally worth the £7.99 espc when boots have 3 for 2!

Royal Apothic Moisturising Body Lotion

I think in one of my previous boxes I had received a Royal Apothic lip tint, maybe last year but I'm not 100% either way I was impressed with that product, so to see I had another of their products I was very pleased :) it's not often you get a good body cream in boxes!
I must admit that the box for this body cream is the most amazing design I have seen for this type of product, swirls and flowers and posh writing for the design.
It contains lactic acid to gently smooth skin, while keeping it hydrated so it stays super-soft despite the chilly winter months.to use massage into damp skin post-shower to seal in the moisture.
This is not full size - but for a travel size this is such a big tube!
The full size costs £14.50 and their website is www.royalapothic.com
_________________________________________________________________________________

                                                Emite Diamond Heart Primer

I cannot express how happy I was to get a primer, I've had primers for eye shadow in boxes before but never for foundation! This product is also travel size which yet again... a decent amount considering it's not full size as a little goes a long way anyway :D
This illuminating soft focus primer has a peachy tint to it but once blended into your skin you obviously cannot see it, on the back of my hand it did look a bit blurred and felt amazingly smooth.
The peachy fluid balances skin tone, boosts radiance and creates a smooth finish.
I cannot wait to try this out on my face, the full size is £25.90 and can be found on their website which is www.emitemakeup.com

                                                                  Eylure - Natural Lashes

As well as many other of you ladies I couldn't wait to get these Eylure lashes!
From peoples blogs/instagram posts I know some people got the natural ones or the more dramatic ones! I find I get on a lot easier with the natural ones as they aren't so thick near the band.
Depending how I get on with these I think they'll become my new holy grail lashes!
Eylure is such an amazing brand and at £5 a pack is a bargain.
You can get 25% off your first order on www.eylure.com by using the code 'Glossy25'
It expires on 30/11/2015
_________________________________________________________________________________

                                                       MUA Eyeshadow Palette - Undressed

I own a few eye shadow palettes from MUA ( Makeup Academy ),
but never thought of purchasing this one!
These shadows are so creamy and pigmented, I've always loved MUA's products!
I remember in like 2008/2009 when they first appeared in superdrug stores.
I actually created a look with these the other day and they blend amazingly well.
These palettes are £4 each and can be found in store/online www.superdrug.com
OR  If you order from them online www.muastore.co.uk
You can get 20% off everything using the code 'MUAGLOSSY'
The code expires 31/12/2015

First impressions

Bell's CC Cream testing/review *BEAUTYCROWD*
Hey everyone, so a few days ago I received an e-mail from Beauty Crowd saying that they would love to send me the Bell CC Cream for me to test and try out so I can review the product on my blog for you guys, which obviously I couldn't thank them enough for giving me this opportunity!

So as I was trying it out, I thought that I may as well create a look and do all my makeup too.

I really hope you enjoy this, and please feel free to let me know what you think :D
_________________________________________________________________________________
Whilst in the shower I exfoliated my face to get rid of any dry skin,
I gently pat my skin dry and I went ahead and applied garnier's moisture nourish for dry to very dry skin.

I left that around 5 minutes, just so it settled into my skin.  Once it had settled I went onto primer, I used the PRO MATTIFY from Freedom.

Once again I left that around 2-3 minutes to settle onto my skin..

So now onto the product this post is mainly about, which Beauty Crowd very kindly sent out to me.

The next product I used was the Bell CC Cream, as you all probably know CC creams are amazing for people who suffer with redness and correcting the skin tone, I usually get a bit of redness on my nose and on my cheeks.

I applied dots evenly all over my face, then I used my ELF flat top powder brush and stippled it into my skin, which even with my foundation I personally find it gives off a more flawless finish. As there was still redness showing through, and it didn't look or feel cakey I continued to add another layer, but instead of making it a full 'two layers' I decided to focus on the main problem areas.
So where there was any redness showing through still I stippled the CC cream into my skin.

Next I took my lasting perfection concealer from collection, which is my holy grail concealer!
I applied it under my eyes, down my nose any redness showing and my chin.
To blend that out I like to use my ring finger and slowly dab it in.

So after that  gave  the CC cream time to settle on my skin, I would say it has a semi-matte finish. Due do me having quite oily skin, and this product also being one of Bell's products I used my real techniques cheek brush and applied Bell's fixing matte powder all over my skin.
_________________________________________________________________________________

So to complete the look I went on to use these products, I started off by applying Benefits stay don't stray all over my eyelids. I then went onto using mua's bronzer to contour as it's the perfect shade! I then used Freedom's Pro Glow Pink Cat on the apples of my cheeks.

The highlight I chose for this look is Cindy Loumanizer  to highlight my nose and just above my blush on my cheek bones.

Now for my eyes, I used my real techniques eyeshadow brush, and Urban decays crease brush.
For this look I picked out Freedom's Pro Shade& Brighten Mattes  Kit 1.

With my realtechniques eyeshadow brush I applied the very first shade on the left in the palette,
I used that all over my lid, and for my crease I used the darkest shade and blended it into my crease with my urban decay crease brush.

To finish that off I got the highlight in the palette and applied it under my brows and blended that in.

For my eyeliner I used freedoms liquid liner, and for mascara I used Milani's Grandissimo Lashes.

Once all my make-up was done I sprayed freedom's fixing spray onto my face to help my make-up stay in place.

< So here's the finished look!!
So my first impressions of the Bell's CC cream were amazing!!

It's not full coverage but it can build to medium without looking cakey.

It goes amazingly well with the Bells fixing matte powder,
I love love love it!
It's probably one of the best CC creams out there!

I highly recommend this product,
Mine is in the shade Porcelain,
which I was scared at first and I never find CC creams pale enough.

There's 4 shades
* Porcelain
*Nude
*Sunny Beige and Toffee.
This product is £6.95 for 30 ml :)
I will put the direct link to this product below so you can hopefully purchase one of your own!

I hope you enjoyed the look I created, if you want me to create more looks in the future contact me on Instagram which is BEAUTYBLOGGER94_

I just want to say a big thank you to Beauty Crowd for giving me the chance to do this,
and I want to thank you guys for reading my blog - I really appreciate it.
