Mini Superdrug Haul

Mini Superdrug Haul
Hey everyone sorry that it's been about a month since I last posted anything at all,
Thought I'd share with you all my little haul from today whilst waiting for my glossy box to arrive!

I hope you all enjoy! <3

_________________________________________________________________________________

So for weeks I've wanted a few of the new products from Makeup Academy (MUA)
I finally went today and purchased 3 items, which I am excited to show you all!

The first thing that caught my eye was the new primer from their Skin Define Hydro range,
I have heard it's an amazing dupe for Illamasqua's Hyrda Veil, which after using the Illamasqua's one that I had in my birchbox I can say so far the MUA version feels and looks the exact same (bar the packaging)

After opening it, I used a tiny amount (which I've figured goes  a long way)
As you can probably see, the formulation of this primer is gel - and as you can see once it was on my finger for a good few seconds it becomes thinner in consistency which is great!
I can't explain how much I am in love with this already, for this moment in time I've only tested it on the back of my hand, and it blended in so nice, it's lightweight and SO hydrating.
Brilliant product for dryer skin, excited to do a proper review to see how it wears with foundation!
They are £5 you can find them at any superdrug store or on their website.

I also picked up the skin define hydro powder with vitamin e and jojoba,
as I do get dry skin it was just common sense to get both the primer and powder,
As you can see on the swatch the pigment is crazy.
It's a lightweight formula and the texture to me,feels super soft and not chalky at all!
I'm one for a matte make-up look so hopefully when I try this out properly it gives amazing results!
They are £3

The top picture is without the flash, and the bottom picture is with flash.

I own two of these already, but this is my first one since they re-done them and changed the packaging.
I got mine in the shade Tranquility, a gorgeous nude brown colour.
I did notice that the applicator is a bit different, and slimmer.
The scent and formulation is actually different to the old ones,
the new ones have a thinner formulation, but a much stronger scent...
Now that never usually bothers me, so if you aren't a fan of strong smelling lip products,
then I'd stay clear of this. I applied it to my lips without exfoliating them  and using lip liner ...
The reason I done that was just to see how it would work alone, I would personally suggest exfoliating and using a lip liner before hand, they are £3 each! bargain..

The last make-up item I picked up was their new lipstick in the shade vintage rouge,
It is such a beautiful colour, when I swatched this on my hand I thought that it was super creamy and really does glide on like a dream, so I just had to try it on my lips!
Like before I never used a lipliner, just so I could see how it works alone..
It is so hydrating I am not even kidding you, it glides on without having to drag it across your lips,
Although I know it's not a lip gloss, it has that sort of shine to it once applied.
I would suggest using a lip liner though just because of how creamy and thin it is.
Beautiful shade and beautiful lipstick all round, they are £1 each!!!
The from top to bottom the first picture below will be without flash, then the second one with flash.
____________________________________________________________________________________________________________
The last two items I picked up was from Aussie!
I picked up two bottles from their winter miracle limited edition design.
I am obsessed with their hair products and the smell is just to die for!
This is the first time I will have purchased the winter edition ones,
it contains Australian Ginseng extract and Pearl Powder!
I can't explain how nice these ones smell, I got the 500ml shampoo and 400ml conditioner!
They are £5.99 a bottle BUT at the minute in superdrug they are £2.98.

Thank you for reading,
sorry it's not much but I still like to get content up for you guys when I can!
Super excited as I am waiting for my glossybox to arrive so I can do an un-boxing for you,
I am also waiting for my kind friend's parcel that she has shipped to me all the way from Canada so that will be amazing to see what lovely things she's got me.

- Please feel free to ask any questions or even suggestions of make-up looks you would like to see on my blog, all my website details are on my blog page :D

Thank you once again, and I'll speak again soon..

I actually received one of their mascaras a good few years back when I first subscribed to glossybox,
I was excited that I got another one, the one I had before was different though where as this one is a mascara to help with curling your lashes! This mascara has a 100% cruelty-free formula, It claims to leave lashes with dramatic volume and intense definition so I cannot wait to try this out!
Gorgeous packaging and it's full size! If you want to check out more of their products please visit the

This peach-hued creamy crayon will flatter anyone, apply it along the inner rim of the eyes to make the whites pop or blend over your brow bones or cheek bones to boost radiance.

The packaging is just so cute, anyone else think so?! It may be £15 but it's worth it considering that it's not tested on animals & the effort they put into the designs for the packaging. I am a sucker when it comes to highlighting my face so this will suit my super pale face! Excited to be trying this out when I get chance.

Lanolips Antibacterial Hand Cream £8.99
Some people received Lanolips lip glosses, so when I knew I got this Antibacterial hand cream I was so excited, it's proven to kill 99.9 % of germs. I love it's sleek packaging completely travel friendly so I'll be taking this out with me everywhere from now on :)  I have actually used this and not only does a little go a long way, it doesn't have that thick or greasy feel which is great!
For some reason the card you get in your glossy box it says this product is £8.99 but the only place you can get it is boots, and their website says £9.99...
Either way it's worth it as it does  what it says :D

Talika Photo-Hydra Day £24.85

Nicka K - Airbrush Blending Sponge £6.50
I was so shocked that I got a product that I can actually apply my make-up with,
Although I'm happy enough receiving make-up products it's always nice to switch it around!
I've always been a 100% fan of applying my foundation with a flat top brush as I find it gives a more airbrushed flawless finish  ( my opinion ) so I cannot wait to try this sponge out as I've heard great things about Nicka K products. It feels dense and soft which is awesome!
If you want to see any of their other products feel free to visit their website!! nicka.com

First impressions

Bell's CC Cream testing/review *BEAUTYCROWD*
Hey everyone, so a few days ago I received an e-mail from Beauty Crowd saying that they would love to send me the Bell CC Cream for me to test and try out so I can review the product on my blog for you guys, which obviously I couldn't thank them enough for giving me this opportunity!

So as I was trying it out, I thought that I may as well create a look and do all my makeup too.

I really hope you enjoy this, and please feel free to let me know what you think :D
_________________________________________________________________________________
Whilst in the shower I exfoliated my face to get rid of any dry skin,
I gently pat my skin dry and I went ahead and applied garnier's moisture nourish for dry to very dry skin.

I left that around 5 minutes, just so it settled into my skin.  Once it had settled I went onto primer, I used the PRO MATTIFY from Freedom.

Once again I left that around 2-3 minutes to settle onto my skin..

So now onto the product this post is mainly about, which Beauty Crowd very kindly sent out to me.

The next product I used was the Bell CC Cream, as you all probably know CC creams are amazing for people who suffer with redness and correcting the skin tone, I usually get a bit of redness on my nose and on my cheeks.

I applied dots evenly all over my face, then I used my ELF flat top powder brush and stippled it into my skin, which even with my foundation I personally find it gives off a more flawless finish. As there was still redness showing through, and it didn't look or feel cakey I continued to add another layer, but instead of making it a full 'two layers' I decided to focus on the main problem areas.
So where there was any redness showing through still I stippled the CC cream into my skin.

Next I took my lasting perfection concealer from collection, which is my holy grail concealer!
I applied it under my eyes, down my nose any redness showing and my chin.
To blend that out I like to use my ring finger and slowly dab it in.

So after that  gave  the CC cream time to settle on my skin, I would say it has a semi-matte finish. Due do me having quite oily skin, and this product also being one of Bell's products I used my real techniques cheek brush and applied Bell's fixing matte powder all over my skin.
_________________________________________________________________________________

So to complete the look I went on to use these products, I started off by applying Benefits stay don't stray all over my eyelids. I then went onto using mua's bronzer to contour as it's the perfect shade! I then used Freedom's Pro Glow Pink Cat on the apples of my cheeks.

The highlight I chose for this look is Cindy Loumanizer  to highlight my nose and just above my blush on my cheek bones.

Now for my eyes, I used my real techniques eyeshadow brush, and Urban decays crease brush.
For this look I picked out Freedom's Pro Shade& Brighten Mattes  Kit 1.

With my realtechniques eyeshadow brush I applied the very first shade on the left in the palette,
I used that all over my lid, and for my crease I used the darkest shade and blended it into my crease with my urban decay crease brush.

To finish that off I got the highlight in the palette and applied it under my brows and blended that in.

For my eyeliner I used freedoms liquid liner, and for mascara I used Milani's Grandissimo Lashes.

Once all my make-up was done I sprayed freedom's fixing spray onto my face to help my make-up stay in place.

< So here's the finished look!!
So my first impressions of the Bell's CC cream were amazing!!

It's not full coverage but it can build to medium without looking cakey.

It goes amazingly well with the Bells fixing matte powder,
I love love love it!
It's probably one of the best CC creams out there!

I highly recommend this product,
Mine is in the shade Porcelain,
which I was scared at first and I never find CC creams pale enough.

There's 4 shades
* Porcelain
*Nude
*Sunny Beige and Toffee.
This product is £6.95 for 30 ml :)
I will put the direct link to this product below so you can hopefully purchase one of your own!

and I want to thank you guys for reading my blog - I really appreciate it.
