KIKO MILANO HAUL

Hello everyone so after finding out there has been a KIKO store open in Birmingham since November I just had to go, all the products I'll be mentioning are purchased over 3 trips in the space of one week (sad I know) But I still cannot get over how amazing their products are!
They have 50% off in store and online on certain things, the staff are so friendly and well mannered which is amazing, the woman who served me even noticed I was wearing one of their nail varnishes without me even saying so, which shows she is dedicated and knows enough about the company to work there! I hope you enjoy my haul, I also purchased a lip liner which I forgot to add into the picture but I will list it below and I'll also put the prices of each product too <3
_________________________________________________________________________________

The first products I actually purchased were two from their nail care, they are £4.90 each and I picked up their Gel Look Ultra Glossy Effect Top Coat, and their Strong Nails Instant Hardening Base Coat, I have used both and they are the best ones that I have tried so far, I really do recommend these products never found such great polishes, I'll 100% be buying more from their nail care range.
_________________________________________________________________________________
KIKO Nail Lacquer 266 Ultramarine Blue - £3.90
A little bit about me you probably don't know (unless you know me or have seen my Instagram)
I actually hoard nail varnishes, I just love always painting my nails and having hundreds of options when I get bored of a certain one,  SO that being said I just had to purchase one of their nail lacquers in the shade 266 Ultramarine Blue, such a beautiful electric blue shade with a hint of shimmer.
I was so shocked at how glossy it looked before I even applied their gel top coat, and that being said I done my nails Saturday 16TH January, it's now the 22ND of January and they're still going strong, a few have chipped a tiny little bit but that was due to catching or breaking a nail, other than that most nails are still looking fine, If you love a long wearing nail polish that looks glossy before top coat and dries fast then I suggest you look into these, they have SO many to choose from so everyone will find one they like, and for £3.90 they are a bargain!
_________________________________________________________________________________
KIKO Matte Muse Lipstick - 01 Plushy Rose
I was super excited to see this product in store, I'm such a baby for any matte lip product, who isn't though right? :D The only shade they had left in store was this one, 01 Plushy  Rose - But it's such a beautiful colour anyway so I had to buy it, super pigmented and really does stay on your lips!
The doe foot applicator makes it easier to apply as it fills more of your lip compared to a tiny normal shaped one, it glides on quite smoothly and looks beautiful on!
I did look on their website again but I can no longer find it on there :( I got it on offer for around £3.40 / £3.60 and I'm pretty sure the full price was £6.90 (not 100% though)
_________________________________________________________________________________
KIKO SOFT LIGHT POWDER - 01

As a pale girl all you fellow ghosts will understand the pain and frustration of finding powders light enough (other than translucent ones obviously) that will match your skin without looking like a Simpson or an orange x'D I was so excited when I swatched this powder in store it's in the shade 01 and it's perfect, feels so soft and smooth and it does actually have quite a lot of coverage to be honest, which is amazing, it's their soft light powder - baked mineral powder, nice sleek compact with a mirror inside perfect to take in your handbag! I'm not sure weather they've stopped selling this as I can no longer find it on their website and I really can't remember how much I paid, sorry guys!
_________________________________________________________________________________
KIKO VIVID COLOUR LIPSTICK PENCIL - 09 Ruby Red £5.90
I don't think I own many lipstick pencils, infact I'm not sure I even do, so I thought it would be a nice change to try something new so I picked up one of kiko's vivid colour lipstick pencils in the shade 09 Ruby Red, I have always been a lover of red lip sticks etc so I couldn't help myself :p
As you can see in the swatch it's a clean line and it glided onto my skin like a dream, only thing is even when I smudged it with my finger it leaves a stain, so I can't wait to try this out to see what the staying power is like :D I will keep you informed on how I get on with this! <3
_________________________________________________________________________________
KIKO EXTRA SCULPT VOLUME MASCARA £8.90

So as you all know pretty much nearly every month I get glossybox, and in December's Really Ree edition I received kiko's extra sculpt volume mascara, so although I never really purchased this in store this mascara retails for £8.90 if you were to purchase it yourselves!
I have heard a lot of people say it's a dupe for a high end mascara but for the life of me I really can't remember, but the whole idea of this big hourglass wand is to evenly distribute the texture. The brush's square ends reach the shortest lashes and those in the corners of your eyes. The formula and brush together ensure curly, volumized lashes with a panoramic effect.
I can't wait to try this out properly but it seems alright so far!
_________________________________________________________________________________
KIKO SMART LIP PENCIL 705 Bright Geranium £2.50
When I went into kiko, cause I don't really have many lip liners I thought I'd get a red one, I swatched one on my hand in store which to me looked red, so weather I got the wrong one who knows but this is their smart lip pencil in the shade 705 Bright Geranium a coral orange shade, it's super creamy and blends so well, it has amazing staying power too which is great! It's available in 16 colours <3
_________________________________________________________________________________

So as I love eye shadow that much I really wanted to buy two colours that would look amazing in the crease of my eyes, so I got one of their eyeshadows in the shade 131 Satin Coffee (left) and one of their Infinity [CLICS] system shadows in the shade 288 Mat Brown Taupe (right)
When I swatched them on my hand I was shocked at how pigmented kiko's eyeshadows are, they blend easily and glide onto your skin like a dream!!! They The 131 Satin Coffee retails for £2.90 and the 288 Mat Brown Taupe retails for £5.90. I highly recommend their eye shadows <3

Those are all the products I own from KIKO so far guys, knowing me I'll probably end up purchasing more at some point when I have the chance to, but for now I'll enjoy playing around with the products I do have and really test them out :D.
It would mean a lot to me, and KIKO if you were to check them out, I'll leave all their social media accounts below and their website so you can check out their products and keep up to date with offers/news!

Mini Superdrug Haul

Mini Superdrug Haul
Hey everyone sorry that it's been about a month since I last posted anything at all,
Thought I'd share with you all my little haul from today whilst waiting for my glossy box to arrive!

I hope you all enjoy! <3

_________________________________________________________________________________

So for weeks I've wanted a few of the new products from Makeup Academy (MUA)
I finally went today and purchased 3 items, which I am excited to show you all!

The first thing that caught my eye was the new primer from their Skin Define Hydro range,
I have heard it's an amazing dupe for Illamasqua's Hyrda Veil, which after using the Illamasqua's one that I had in my birchbox I can say so far the MUA version feels and looks the exact same (bar the packaging)

After opening it, I used a tiny amount (which I've figured goes  a long way)
As you can probably see, the formulation of this primer is gel - and as you can see once it was on my finger for a good few seconds it becomes thinner in consistency which is great!
I can't explain how much I am in love with this already, for this moment in time I've only tested it on the back of my hand, and it blended in so nice, it's lightweight and SO hydrating.
Brilliant product for dryer skin, excited to do a proper review to see how it wears with foundation!
They are £5 you can find them at any superdrug store or on their website.
_________________________________________________________________________________

I also picked up the skin define hydro powder with vitamin e and jojoba,
as I do get dry skin it was just common sense to get both the primer and powder,
As you can see on the swatch the pigment is crazy.
It's a lightweight formula and the texture to me,feels super soft and not chalky at all!
I'm one for a matte make-up look so hopefully when I try this out properly it gives amazing results!
They are £3
_________________________________________________________________________________

The top picture is without the flash, and the bottom picture is with flash.

I own two of these already, but this is my first one since they re-done them and changed the packaging.
I got mine in the shade Tranquility, a gorgeous nude brown colour.
I did notice that the applicator is a bit different, and slimmer.
The scent and formulation is actually different to the old ones,
the new ones have a thinner formulation, but a much stronger scent...
Now that never usually bothers me, so if you aren't a fan of strong smelling lip products,
then I'd stay clear of this. I applied it to my lips without exfoliating them  and using lip liner ...
The reason I done that was just to see how it would work alone, I would personally suggest exfoliating and using a lip liner before hand, they are £3 each! bargain..
_________________________________________________________________________________
The last make-up item I picked up was their new lipstick in the shade vintage rouge,
It is such a beautiful colour, when I swatched this on my hand I thought that it was super creamy and really does glide on like a dream, so I just had to try it on my lips!
Like before I never used a lipliner, just so I could see how it works alone..
It is so hydrating I am not even kidding you, it glides on without having to drag it across your lips,
Although I know it's not a lip gloss, it has that sort of shine to it once applied.
I would suggest using a lip liner though just because of how creamy and thin it is.
Beautiful shade and beautiful lipstick all round, they are £1 each!!!
The from top to bottom the first picture below will be without flash, then the second one with flash.
____________________________________________________________________________________________________________
The last two items I picked up was from Aussie!
I picked up two bottles from their winter miracle limited edition design.
I am obsessed with their hair products and the smell is just to die for!
This is the first time I will have purchased the winter edition ones,
it contains Australian Ginseng extract and Pearl Powder!
I can't explain how nice these ones smell, I got the 500ml shampoo and 400ml conditioner!
They are £5.99 a bottle BUT at the minute in superdrug they are £2.98.

Thank you for reading,
sorry it's not much but I still like to get content up for you guys when I can!
Super excited as I am waiting for my glossybox to arrive so I can do an un-boxing for you,
I am also waiting for my kind friend's parcel that she has shipped to me all the way from Canada so that will be amazing to see what lovely things she's got me.

- Please feel free to ask any questions or even suggestions of make-up looks you would like to see on my blog, all my website details are on my blog page :D

Thank you once again, and I'll speak again soon..

Mini Superdrug haul

Hello everyone,

So the other day I went into superdrug and purchased 3 items,
I have been seeing a lot of youtuber's/bloggers and people on Instagram rant and rave about the brand Makeuprevolution and after decided I thought sod it,
I purchased 3 items from their I Love Makeup Range.
I bought 2 of their lipsticks, and one of their eye primers called stay don't stray which I have heard is quite a good dupe for the urban decay stay don't stray......

The two lipsticks were £1.99 each and the primer was £2.99,
Superdrug have a 3 for 2 offer on at the moment where you get a cute little make-up bag free!

I have these lipsticks in the shade
Cherry Bomb and Happy Girl!
They are such cute colours and they are so pigmented and moisturising, I thought they would be quite drying on your lips but they feel so soft! Such a bargain at £1.99 each,
You can purchase these through the Makeuprevolution site or from Superdrug if you're in the UK!

This is what the Eye Primer - Stay don't stray looks like,
I have used this and the benefit one, and I can actually say apart from this one being a little lighter on the skin and the coverage not as much, it feels the same on my eyes and a lovely matte finish which is great as I get quite oily eyelids!

It also really makes your eyeshadow stand out!
So at a bargain price of £2.99 it's better than buying the benefit one if you have a certain budget!

I hope all of this was helpful for you all,
I have another haul which will be up tomorrow,
and possibly a Primark Haul on Tuesday,
Thank you so much for reading,
enjoy your weekends <3
Sarah!

MUA Haul

MUA HAUL!

Sorry that it's late tonight, had a few things to sort out today but I'm staying true to my words and i'm still going to write out this post for you all tonight! :) Here goes... I hope you enjoy xo-

I had ordered my things on the sunday, and by wednesday morning I had my goodies in the post!
They no longer do standard delivery but they do guaranteed delivery -
Which  I believe is around £3.60? Super fast and reliable!

I was super excited when I got my items but I was super sad that one of the nail polishes was damaged, other than that though everything else were great!

              Here's a picture of the things I had purchased;

First of all I got two of their blushers, in shade 1 & 3
Shade 1 was a re-purchase as I've nearly hit pan, and shade 3 i'd never tried before.
I'm sure their blushers used to be quite powdery and dusty but now I'm pleased with both they go on so smooth, and although they are powder blushes it has a cream like texture, the are both beautiful shades!!!
The left is shade 1 and the right is shade 3,they both have a great colour payoff and at just £1 each they are better than expected!

I also picked up 3 lip glosses from their mua pro lipgloss range,
they are called '  Out There Plumping Lipgloss '
I got them in the shade BUFF, - PINK SUGAR - SHOCKING PINK.

I have tested all of them out and for a lipgloss I think they actually have a great colour payoff, they make your lips feel tingly though so for those who aren't so used to the idea then I probably wouldn't suggest them for you. Each shade contains maxi lip© plumping agents for a natural looking pout with a non sticky formula.
They are £2 each and they have 7 shades in total.

From top to bottom the shades are;

BUFF
PINK SUGAR
SHOCKING PINK

these three are such beautiful shades,
buff is more natural and doesn't look too much on your lips,
and the other two are just as nice if you want to brighten up your look.
I think it really is true that they are non sticky, they make your lips feel super amazing too!

The last lip items I purchased were a lip stick and lip gloss,
I have their INTENSE KISSES High Intensity Gloss -
In shade Kiss And Tell. they are £2

Then I purchased their normal £1 lipstick range in shade 5,

On the left is the Kiss And Tell Gloss
and the really pale glitter pink is their lipstick in shade 5.

They both glide on so well, I was so excited when I had applied the gloss over my lips,
I was so surprised, it has such great pigmentation. The lipstick however just has a light pigment to it, which I suppose is still good if you want to have  a pale shimmer to your lips.

The three Nail Varnishes I purchased are £1 each and the shades I picked were;

Deepest Purple, Bright Coral and Pistachio Ice Cream.
I don't have any swatches but, they glide on quite well!
Although it was my favourite one Pistachio Ice Cream that was damaged :( it was super thick/all around the inside of the lid and was just too thick to do anything.

I hope that you enjoyed reading , I just wanted to say a big thank you to everyone who has either followed me on here or just gone through my blog in general, because I have to this exact minute 1,013 views all time on my blog in general, I didn't think that it would be possible.

So yes thank you guys, I will post my february favourites tomorrow for you all.

Goodnight ^_^ xxo

Lush & Primark Haul

LUSH & PRIMARK HAUL!

Hello everyone, I was in town today and happened to accidentally slip into LUSH and Primark ;)
It's not a huge haul - just a small haul so I thought I would share with you guys what I purchased!

Firstly I couldn't resist but to go into LUSH.. now I know I'm not the first to say this , but......
LUSH IS THE MOST AMAZING STORE IN THE WHOLE WORLD!

I only purchased 2 different items , but once I have used them for at least a week I will do a review :)
Firstly I picked up four Tea Tree Toner Tab's   - They are £1.00 each / 5g
I have been hearing super amazing things about these so I thought I would try them out!
All you have to do is  drop into a bowl of hot water, releasing the steam to open pores and allow the essential oils to be absorbed - cover your head with a towel and breathe it in for 5 minutes (or however long you'd prefer) wait for the water to cool down then you could use a cotton wool pad and use the toner water to clean any excess oils or dirt from your face.

If you don't like to waste things, you can actually store the rest of the toner water in a make-up bottle or spray bottle and keep in the fridge -  I had spoke to a guy in lush who had recently been told you can keep each one in the fridge for around 1 week before chucking it :) Which is long enough!

Tea Tree Water, Toner Water. £4.25 for 100g and £7.95 for 250g.
As Tea tree is antibacterial, antifungal and antimicrobial, it helps keep away the bacteria that can cause spots.  Use any time of day to keep skin refreshed, or to remove traces of makeup or cleanser.
It claims to be good for oily and spot prone skin -
I never get spots thank god, but I was blessed with oily dry skin ,
So I will use this every single day so I can get the right opinions of it so I can do reviews on both of these products - I will be sure to keep you all informed when that will be.

Now onto my few things from Primark ;
I have heard so many things about beauty blenders, now as primark do their version for a reasonable £1.50 I thought - Well why not give it a go before splashing the cash on a top branded beauty blender just to get used to /see if it suits my make-up routine.

Me and my partner seen these boxers with fries on saying I love fries then the other side that says fries before guys - which we both found hilarious, they are super soft and very comfy!  £1.70

I noticed they had tons of short shorts in different colours/patterns so I decided to get these plain black and white ones to wear around the house , they are super soft and I put them on tonight... so comfy! £3

Last of all I noticed they had new wipes out, and being a twin pack I had to purchase!
They are from their P,S LOVE YOUR SKIN range -  Argan Facial Cleansing Wipes for dry skin.
    * Lightly fragranced , Dermatologically Tested and Enriched with Argan oil!!
You get 25 wipes in each packet - they are twin packs so really you get 50.
They smell really sweet, but not over powering which is always nice!
At only £1!! you cannot go wrong!

Sorry that it was only a small little haul but....
I will have my MUA (Makeup Academy) haul up tomorrow for you guys!
And because it's the 28th -
The last day of the month I will also think of a Feb favourites to do for you.
So yes that's right, two blogs on the same day :D!!

Thank you for reading and visiting my blog - it means the world to me!
