LUSH HAUL!

Hello everyone :) so as pretty much everyone loves Lush I thought it would be nice to show you some of the things I got at the end of December! I popped into Birmingham's store and although it was jammed full of people the staff still remained calm and friendly like always..

I'd spent around £30 and was thankful for staff always asking me if I needed any help, I'd asked if there was any sale stuff left which there wasn't but the lovely woman still went out back to see, little did I know she came out with a northern lights bath bomb and just because it was the tiniest bit chipped on the outside they wasn't selling it, so she kindly said you can just have it! Such a lovely gesture.

This is why I love lush, not only are their products out of this world but I've yet to come across a staff member which isn't so friendly. I am so impressed by every product from lush that I've tried now over the years and I'm super excited to purchase some more from their valentines day range.. I mean come on how can you not? Have you seen how adorable and cute they are xD

So on to the things I purchased, some I've used and some I haven't just yet so there will be a post following after this one to discuss in detail how I felt about ones I have used. Hope you enjoy!

Before I carry on though I did kindly receive two samples, a celestial moisturiser and herbalism cleanser, they both smell amazing and I'm excited to try them.

Yoga Bomb £4.25
Fizzbanger £3.75
Avobath £3.50
Sakura £3.50
Tisty Tosty £3.50
Ickle Baby Bot £1.95
Northern Lights Bath Bomb (free)
Pop In The Bath Bubble Bar £3.65
Floating Island Bath Oil £2.00

If you have any questions about these products then please feel free to ask me anything!
I hope you enjoyed my lush haul and I will be doing a post at some point today about some of the bath bombs I have used!

Love Sarah!

Jelly Pong Pong - Fairy Lashes Curl Mascara - £17.95
I actually received one of their mascaras a good few years back when I first subscribed to glossybox,
I was excited that I got another one, the one I had before was different though where as this one is a mascara to help with curling your lashes! This mascara has a 100% cruelty-free formula, It claims to leave lashes with dramatic volume and intense definition so I cannot wait to try this out!
Gorgeous packaging and it's full size! If you want to check out more of their products please visit the
link I'll post it here >>>>  http://jellypongpong.com/

So Susan - Haute Light Highlighting Pencil £15
This peach-hued creamy crayon will flatter anyone, apply it along the inner rim of the eyes to make the whites pop or blend over your brow bones or cheek bones to boost radiance.
100% Cruelty-Free (We do NOT test our products or ingredients on animals)
The packaging is just so cute, anyone else think so?! It may be £15 but it's worth it considering that it's not tested on animals & the effort they put into the designs for the packaging. I am a sucker when it comes to highlighting my face so this will suit my super pale face! Excited to be trying this out when I get chance.

Please visit their website they're an amazing company! <3

Lanolips Antibacterial Hand Cream £8.99
Some people received Lanolips lip glosses, so when I knew I got this Antibacterial hand cream I was so excited, it's proven to kill 99.9 % of germs. I love it's sleek packaging completely travel friendly so I'll be taking this out with me everywhere from now on :)  I have actually used this and not only does a little go a long way, it doesn't have that thick or greasy feel which is great!
For some reason the card you get in your glossy box it says this product is £8.99 but the only place you can get it is boots, and their website says £9.99...
Either way it's worth it as it does  what it says :D
_________________________________________________________________________________

Talika Photo-Hydra Day £24.85
As I suffer from dry skin I couldn't wait to get my hands on this product, it claims to be deeply hydrating, especially in the autumn/ winter! It has soothing and nourishing ingredients alongside plumping hyaluronic acid which will leave your complextion hydrated and primed!
This is so excited and I cannot wait to add this into my skin care routine :D
Please visit their website to check out their products! talika.com/US/GB/
_________________________________________________________________________________

Nicka K - Airbrush Blending Sponge £6.50
I was so shocked that I got a product that I can actually apply my make-up with,
Although I'm happy enough receiving make-up products it's always nice to switch it around!
I've always been a 100% fan of applying my foundation with a flat top brush as I find it gives a more airbrushed flawless finish  ( my opinion ) so I cannot wait to try this sponge out as I've heard great things about Nicka K products. It feels dense and soft which is awesome!
If you want to see any of their other products feel free to visit their website!! nicka.com

Beauty Crowd Haul (first impression)

Beauty Crowd Haul - First Impressions!

Good evening everyone, hope you've all had a fabulous day!

As you all probably know, yesterday I posted about my Beauty Crowd Haul.
And as promised I'm currently doing my first impressions for you ^_^ !
I was shocked at how amazing these products are, so if you're interested after reading my blog then please feel free to head over to www.beautycrowd.com  to have a look at their amazing website!
_________________________________________________________________________________

As someone who gets oily skin when I seen this on their site I jumped at the chance of purchasing it! I know it's not a  HD powder by all means, but I own a HD powder from ELF which was the worst product i'd ever tried!
No matter how much  I tried to slowly do bit by bit it just looks like a white mask     on your face - so I was nervous by Bell's claims that it doesn't leave a white mask!

I have tried this out and it's seriously the most amazing powder I've ever tried! think this is going to be my holy grail!  It's   dermatologist approved, HYPOAllergenic.
It is also not tested on animals and it's vegan friendly!
so overall £5.95 for this totally worth it :D

_________________________________________________________________________________

Milani Grandissimo lashes - Black Mascara

I've always heard people rave about this mascara, and I thought it was worth trying it out, as you can see in the picture the brush is just HUGE! So if you don't like that then I don't think this product would suit you.
I haven't got a picture unfortunately, but when I do I'll upload it to my Instagram for you guys to see the results. Although I have tried it for 2 days in a row now so I'll tell you what I personally think.   I  think the brush is a bit big BUT it's bearable.
Obviously I know it's main aim is to volumise your lashes - it does an okay job but doesn't do much really if you're the type of person who wants your lashes to be super long and curled. I don't think I'd re-purchase this one again but I'll use it up just for the fact it's not the worst mascara out there, remember these are my personal views and everyone's lashes are different so it may work differently to someone else who uses this.
It's £6 , not tested on animals, vegan friendly and the claim I do agree with is that it doesn't clump your lashes.
_________________________________________________________________________
Absolute Maxi Satin
 Lip Crayon
I've never owned a product like this before as I didn't think they would be any good...
I'm a big fan of the red lip, so when I seen they had this in the shade ' Very Red '  I jumped at the chance and purchased it, it's such a gorgeous shade of red - and most of all the pigment is amazing, it easily glides onto your lips and the staying power is amazing!
I had this on for around 5 hours, in that time I drank and ate food and even after the results were amazing. so I'm assuming it will be good for people who go out clubbing etc!
One of my new favourite lip products!! This costs £3.95 and is in 13 different shades.
_________________________________________________________________________________
Absolute Matte Lipstick
I got this in the shade;
 Bulgarian Rose.
It's such a beautiful deep red,
Yet again like the maxi stain it has brilliant pigmentation!
This matte lipstick smells so much like grapes, yummy! I highly recommend this product and I am very excited to purchase more in different shades!! I'm not sure on the staying power as I only tested it out for a short period of time, but I'm assuming it will last all day.
This product is £3.95 and they have the matte lipsticks in 6 different shades.
_________________________________________________________________________________

Absolute Mood Lipgloss - Joy clear to pink.

I have honestly never seen anything like this before,
so when I did I thought I would give one of them a try.
I was very impressed, it didn't feel too sticky like most lip glosses do,
the scent is fruity and they have three different shades,
They have Joy which is the one I have,
Love which is clear to red and Peace, which is clear to soft pink.

It's amazing how the product is clear but as soon as it touches your skin it slowly transforms into the colour, I found the more you rub the product in the more intense the colour gets which is amazing!
At £3.95 for 10 ml of product this is totally worth it!
_________________________________________________________________________________

So there it is, the products I ordered!
I hope you enjoyed reading what I had to say about them, maybe if you own any of the products you could comment below and let me know your thoughts? :) would be great to hear someone elses thoughts.

I'm grateful for all you who are visiting my blog,

August Birchbox 2015

August Birchbox - #BEAUTYJUNKIE
Hey everyone so as promised I'm currently sat here at 4AM doing a post about Birchbox.
This month was another great month for birchbox, the box came and the design is little emojii type things, all over which is pretty cute - then the bottom half of the box is a gorgeous mint green colour.

As well as your products everyone received a sheet of stickers which is amazing!
Overall I'm amazed at the products I received, i'll put everything below for you guys!
_________________________________________________________________________________

Benefit High Beam
The full size is £19.50
This gorgeous pink hue gives an instantly dewy finish, you can apply this highlighter on brow and cheekbones.

It blends nicely and I can agree that it gives a gorgeous dewy finish
The sample size is 2.5 ml , which by the pigmentation it's going to last ages - Brilliant!

_________________________________________________________________________________

Laura Mercier
Kohl Eye Pencil in Black Violet
The full size is £17.50!
This ultra-creamy, pigmented purple pencil glides beautifully across your eyes.

I didn't expect the pigment, and staying power to be this good, I applied it to the back of my hand and I rubbed and rubbed and it just stayed put!!
_________________________________________________________________________________
Illamasqua - Hydra Veil
The full size costs £32
I've not tried this primer with foundation yet, but I have applied it to where I'm prone to dry patches and well... I must admit it really did feel hydrated and smooth.
They claim that it has a nourishing formula and instantly re-hydrates and smooths the skin for a radiant complexion - Those claims are correct!
Excited to try this out when I do a full face of make-up.
_________________________________________________________________________________

Rituals Rice Scrub - Full size £10

Rice Scrub - Organic Rice Milk & Cherry Blossom.
For a sample size 70ml is quite a lot of product :).
The scent of this product is amazing, I can't wait to use this!
It says to use this once OR twice a week, massage onto damp skin using circular motions then rinse away.

I can imagine that it will leave your skin soft and smooth!

_________________________________________________________________________________

BioNike Cleansing Water  *BIRCHBOX EXCLUSIVE*

Defence Tolerance Essential Cleansing Water.
This sample size is 15 ml and the full size costs £12.20
This product is fragrance free, suitable for sensitive skin it gently removes make-up and leaves skin feeling smooth and soft.
Using your fingertips, massage into face and neck.
Remove using a cotton pad - no rinsing required!

________________________________________________________________________________

Kebelo
Clarifying Shampoo, 50 ml and the full size costs £13.95
The whole point of this shampoo is to use once or twice a month, and that is to get rid of any product build up in your hair, this has gentle blend of ingredients to detox your hair and scalp. It has a very fresh smell, so I am super excited to try this out! I may even purchase the full size at some point!

Freedom Makeup -

Freedom Makeup - Swatches/prices/first impressions!

Hey guys so as promised here are my swatches, details about the products and my first impressions.

I am happy to say that I'd seriously recommend this company to everyone :).

Hope you enjoy!

Mono  Eyeshadow
Base 202 and Base 203
They are £1 each,

For a base shade I didn't expect there to be much colour pay off..
I gently swept my finger across each one and well...
They are both super pigmented, which for £1 is perfect!
The formulation/texture was super smooth and felt a little bit creamy.
From now on these will be my holy grail for a base!
_________________________________________________________________________________

Mono Eyeshadow - Nude 209 - Also £1
This is the perfect nude shade for your crease,
It's easy to blend and has the perfect creamy texture, the formulation to this eyeshadow is amazing.

I can't wait to use this as a crease shade!!

_________________________________________________________________________________

Mono Eyeshadow Gilded - from left to right;
Gilded 216, 217, 218 and 219!
They are also £1 each.

As you can see from the swatch... it's amazing.
You can tell from the picture how crazy the pigmentation of these products actually are.
There's actually no fall out, also some eye shadows at this price that have shimmer in them actually feel gritty,
Freedom REALLY know how to make super smooth eyeshadow products!! Such gorgeous colours.
 ____________________________________________________________________________________________

PRO MATTIFY - Primer
First of all this costs £4 so to get 25ml of product that is just amazing, as most primers you get less.
They have two different primers, they have this one which is aimed more at people who suffer from oily skin, like myself, or they have the Pro Prime which is aimed more for dry skin as it claims to moisturise and make your foundation last longer. It's just a clear colour and I slowly rubbed this into my hand it felt super matte, but a nice smooth base at the same time, I am                                                very excited to try this out!
_________________________________________________________________________________

Pro Shade & Brighten Mattes Kit 1 - £2.50
These mini palettes contain 6 eyeshadows,
and one highlight. Perfect for taking in your bag.

As you can see for a matte palette they have strong pigmentation, the first three shades don't show up that well on my hand in the picture
( due to the fact I'm so pale ) BUT believe me the pigment is amazing for all of these shades!
They are quite smooth and would be perfect as an everyday natural eye look!

_________________________________________________________________________________

Pro 10 Eyeshadow Palette - Smoulder
I'm not sure on how much this palette actually costs as it came free with the offer they had on.
None of the less it's such a great palette!
I'm not one for using bright noticeable colours but i'll be using these creating different looks thats for sure! Maybe in the crease? Who knows! :)

They don't have shade names, but the first 5 shades from the left of the palette are the top row, then the last 5 shades from the palette are on the bottom row. Highly recommend this palette (if they still sell it) super pigmented and perfect formula.
_____________________________________________________________________________________________

 PRO MELTS - £3 each!
L-R Jammy Dodger & Sugar Fix.
I wasn't sure how I felt at first (before opening)
But once swatched and applied the pro melts to my lips I was blown away with the pigment and how they applied!
Freedom say it's meant to give that high definition intense finish as these are classed as a melted lipstick formula lipglosses!
I can actually agree with their statement.
Although they are a lipgloss, after a few minutes it does have the finish of a lipstick, so it's not too glossy which is great as we all hate our hair getting blown onto our lips by the wind ;) ! So for £3 I'll be making sure I get some of the nude shades next time as well.
_____________________________________________________________________________________________

Blush Professional Pro Blush -   3 - True Loved.   £1 each

I think this is the  perfect pink/peach shade,  great pigment and I really stand by and support their statement on this product.
They claim that it's 100% Build-able & Blend-able!
Also that it gives a nice professional natural finish..
All of those are correct, I've never found a company like this to be so accurate with their claims on products!

Excited to try this one out!

_____________________________________________________________________________________________

Pro Glow Pink Cat - £2.50
Pressed Powder Translucent 101 face power - £2

So I'll start off with the Pro Glow Pink Cat Blusher,
I completely love the pattern, the 3 different shades in this just makes it the perfect blush!
Super blend-able and smooth, it's not powdery either..
Which as we all know some blushes are quite powdery.
As you can see in the swatch it's such a gorgeous colour.
I would highly suggest this!

Now as for the face powder, I got the translucent shade due to being so pale, I'm thinking it may be a bit too yellow toned for my skin, but hopefully once I have used it to set my concealer or foundation it may be okay! Great coverage and it's actually very smooth, I'll have to do a make-up look with these products and let you know how I get on!

_____________________________________________________________________________________________
Pro Line  Ultra Black, liquid eyeliner. £1.50

My first impressions of this product wasn't so great.
It took me around 30 minutes to open the eyeliner.
No matter how much strength I used it just wouldn't open, it was like the lid was jammed or something.
But after not giving up after 30 minutes I eventually got it open, maybe I got a bad batch who knows?
It's still a little difficult to open but at least I know it's not going to leak in my make-up bag anytime soon haha! Now as for the smell, I can't work out what it smells like but it's not pleasant, maybe it's a bad batch again? I don't know, please feel free to let me know if any of you guys have used this before? I'll still be giving it a go irrespective as liquid liner has been my holy grail for many many years now and I'll at least give it a go!
It's got good pigment though so for £1.50 I can't complain.
_____________________________________________________________________________________________

P.S I also have their Pro Fixing Spray which costs £3.50 I am yet to try this out.

So after nearly 2 hours of writing out my honest first impressions, I hope you all enjoy the read!
